Olive was described as "infirm".
Nathaniel moved to Canada in 1848.
Nathaniel McDonald married Sarah Morang on August 1, 1827 in Lubec, Maine. She was the daughter of Alexander Morang and Martha Denbow.
Nathaniel was the son of John McDonald and Hannah Allen.
