Clara was a woman of strong faith and truly loved her church and they her. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and the Stith Sunday school class and the McCormick-Perritt Circle. One of her proudest moments was the dedication of the Alice Rogers/Clara Tucker Library. She enjoyed visiting shut-ins with her dear friend Ann Nye as a part of the Nurtures Care Group. She was honored to be a part of the Tussie-Mussie Garden Club. She managed Sanitary Cleaners and then later Browns' Jewelry until she retired. Reminiscing about her Centenary High School days playing basketball always brought a smile to her face. Clara truly loved life and all her many loyal friends. Bernice Newberry (Mack) was always there for her. Squeaky Richburg has been by her side for the past 10 months. She loved her family and was loved dearly by them. She was affectionately called "GG" by her 15 great grandchildren.
