She was born January 15, 1936, daughter of George and Maxine Jochumsen Wagner.
Darlene was employed with the United States Department of State until retirement.
Survivors include: two brothers, Ed of Waterloo and Jack of Taylor, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: a sister-in-law, Alice Wagner; and a nephew, Bill Wagner.
A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation will continue at the church for an hour before services on Tuesday.
