Obituary from The Post-Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - Sunday, November 24, 1974:
Ronald Clinton Wickham, 51, an employee of Aerojet Nuclear Corp., died Friday in an apparent hunting accident in Teton County of gunshot wounds.
Mr. Wickham was born January 26, 1923 at Wilford to Ronald Bertrand and Annie Empey Wickham. He attended elementary school at Wilford and high school at Sugar City.
During World War II he served in the submarine division of the Navy for three years. Upon his return from the service he was married to Lesley Marie Gardner, February 9, 1945 at Teton City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Following his marriage he worked in St. Anthony for an electric firm for three years. The couple then moved to Idaho Falls to make their home and he then began work for Aerojet Nuclear Corp. at the INEL.
Mr. Wickham was an active member of the LDS Church. He was a seventy and had served as Sunday School Superintendent, a Ward Clerk, MIA Superintendent, and had served as a Scout Master.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was on a hunting trip at the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow of Idaho Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Roger (Anna Marie) Pickett of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Mrs. Frank (Priscilla) Davis of Provo, Utah, Jan Wickham, serving an LDS Mission in Bloomington, Minnesota, and Julie Wickham of Idaho Falls; his mother, Mrs. Annie Wright of Wilford; two brothers, Thomas Wickham of Wilford and Calvin H. Wickham of Ashton; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Colleen) Greenhalgh of Rigby and Mrs. Ken E. (Roberta) Campbell of Idaho Falls; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Idaho Falls 17th LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Ray Dickson officiating. Interment will be in the Teton Cemetery.
