She was a rural school teacher, cook at McCune-Brooks Hospital and night clerk at Guest House Motel. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Carthage and the Business and Professional Women.
She married Milton Lawrence Vincent on Sept. 14, 1937 at Butler, MO. He died Nov. 7, 1972. Survivors include a brother, Hollis Wright, Louisville, Ill, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Martha Johnson. Mrs. Vincent is buried at Paradise Cemetery near Jasper, MO.
