87, was welcomed into Heaven on February 13, 2015 upon passing at his home in Crestwood, KY.
Jack was born October 17, 1927 at Premium, KY, to Arlie Frazier and Alberta Collins Frazier. On July 20, 1948, he married Jo Ann Dixon and to this union was born, Anna Marie (Jill) Frazier, John Wakefield (died July 20, 1951) and Glenna Jo (Jody) Frazier Curry (Keith). He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Pa Jack loved God, his family and the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. And even in the latter years of life, with the struggles of Parkinson's Disease, he found his joy in these three things. He joined the Church at Isom, Kentucky in July 1968 and was baptized in the North Fork of the Kentucky River. No matter his address, Letcher County, Kentucky was always "home."
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jo Ann Dixon Frazier, their marriage truly honoring the vows, "for better and worse, in sickness and in health"; his two daughters and son-in-law; two grandchildren, Caitlin Gentry (Justin) and Matthew Curry; two great-grandchildren, Adeline Grace Gentry and Asher Allen Gentry. He is also survived by his brothers, Gurnie Maggard (Anna Lee), Jim Maggard (Cindy); sister-in-law, Betty Sue Moss (Jack) and their families.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Covenant United Methodist Church, Lagrange, KY. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Centerfield.
