Mr. King was born August 5, 1960, in Danville, Vermilion Co., Illinois, a son of Samuel B. and Jane Warnick King. He married Connie S. Dempsey on October 13, 1984, in Newport, Indiana. She survives.
He is also survived by his parents of Cayuga and two sons, Matthew Ray King and Lucas Scott King.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Mr. King graduated from North Vermillion High School.
He was a self-employed contractor of King Masonry and a part-time realtor.
He was a member of the Bricklayer's Union Local 8 in Champaign.
