Clyde Little Jr., 89, of Grants Pass died April 10, 2014, at his home.No services are planned. Southern Oregon Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.since1928hull.com.He was born June 18, 1924, in Joplin, Mo., to Lawrence Clyde and Verna Little. He attended school in Carl Junction, Mo. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Coast Guard to aid in the war effort and served as a radio operator on Amchitka Island.On May 14, 1945, he married Ethel Felker, who preceded him in death. He had a career with the Federal Aviation Administration and lived in Wyoming, Hawaii, Guam, Montana, Arizona, Oklahoma, Washington and Missouri. His final position was in Garden City, Kan., as the flight service chief of the airport. After retiring, the family moved to Grants Pass, where he built his house and sold real estate. After his second retirement, he ran the ham radio Noon Time Net for 20 years as AA7WC.He was a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Montana in Whitehall.Survivors include two daughters, Dee Marks and Nila Lowry, both of Grants Pass; a son, Larry Little of Seattle; three sisters, June, Barbara and Nellie; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by two sisters and a granddaughter.
