He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Steven was retired from DuPont Chemical Plant. He served his country in the Vietnam War in the United States Army, First Infantry, 28th Battalion (Big Red 1), Black Lions Battalion.
Steven is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Stone; children, Christopher Stone, Marium Stone Blagg, Jacquelyn Stone, and Katrina Stone Sheets and her husband Joshua; brother, Alan Stone; sisters, Beverly Burgess, Ruth Ann Stone, and Glenna Sansom; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Paul Hinman officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 16 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
