Houston – Connie Proctor Lawrence, age 75, died Friday, February 13, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

She was born June 6, 1939 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to Claude Biggs Proctor and Frances Estelle Reed Proctor. She was a retired employee from Sunburst Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Houston, where she formerly served as the church treasurer.

Funeral services are Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 2 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Chickasaw Memorial Gardens in Houston.

Survivors include: her husband, Doyle Lawrence of Houston; Daughter, Kimberly Ann Lawrence of Houston; Son, Keith Lawrence of Van Vleet; two granddaughters, Kaylah (Jimmy) Jordan of Oakland, TN and Cristin Clare Cook of Houston; and one great-granddaughter, Halle Jordan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM and Sunday from 12 until 2 service time at Houston Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 123 Houston, MS 38851.
