David Marion Walls, age 79, Floral City, Florida, went to be with his Lord Feb. 10, 2015, at his residence. David was born June 20, 1935, in Geiger, Ohio, to the late Emmitt and Lousettie (Nance) Walls. He served our country in the United States Air Force. David was employed in many venues; he worked as the owner/operator of a long distance truck and later went into the ministry. He was a member of Inglis Church of God. He enjoyed fishing and boating and loved to tinker on old cars.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Diane DeMartino, Ocala, David M. (Judy) Walls, Floral City, Tracy Robinson, Ocala and Johnathan Walls, Lima, Ohio; his sister, Ava Jean Salyer, Covington, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Ida Walls; children, Anna, Joseph and Emmitt; a brother, Charles; and sisters, Dorothy and Ruth.
A tribute and celebration of David's life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The family invites friends to join them for visitation from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Further services will be from the Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio, with burial in Grenlawn Cemetery in South Charleston, Ohio.
