Cynthia E. West, 65, of East Moline, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Rock Island.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 2, at 1 p.m. at Hampton Township Cemetery, with the Rev. Roland Bechtel officiating. Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, East Moline, is handling arrangements.
Cynthia was born Dec. 1, 1948, in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Helen Hutchsen Vines. She was a receptionist at Illini Hospital. Cynthia married Thomas West on Feb. 10, 1973. She liked to knit and crochet and enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Andrew Edward West, Galesburg; daughter, Amanda L. VanTreeck, Sheboygan, Wis.; grandson, Kyle West, Texas; granddaughters, Cora Duffy, Adyan VanTreeck and Attius VanTreeck, all of Sheboygan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and a brother.
