Patrick was born April 8, 1929, in Austin to John W. and Clara (Robinson) McAnally. He married Evelyn E. Porter November 27, 1948, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Austin. He worked at the Hormel Food Corporation in Austin for many years as a union representative for Local P9.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2001; his parents; and brothers, John, James, Joe, Paul and David.
