Julie A. “JuJu” Hill, age 56, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday morning, February 13, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 7, 1958 in Mount Vernon, daughter of the late Gene and Beatrice (Payne) Fields.
JuJu worked for the former American National Can in Mount Vernon and then Goodwill in Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Elks Kokosing Lodge 1085 in Mount Vernon.
JuJu is survived by her sister, Jo Ann Fields of Mount Vernon; brother-in-law, Neil E. Clark; nieces and nephews, Robin an Timothy Ingram of Los Angeles, CA, Shawnika Vernon of Columbus, Robert Spittle, Malcolm Fields, Zach Clark, Amy Clark and Mariah Clark of Mount Vernon, and Ashley Fields of Columbus; and a brother-in-law, Neil E. Clark of Mount Vernon.
In addition to her parents, JuJu was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Michael Fields; and sisters, Patricia Ingram and Jeanette Clark.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until the time of the celebration of life service at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Rd., Mount Vernon with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.
Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
