Elmer Maurice Clark, 82, of West Monroe passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.

Visitation will be at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and 2:00 PM until service time on Saturday at Feazel Chapel. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Feazel Chapel, on the campus of First Baptist of West Monroe with his son, Rev. Michael Clark and Dr. Woods Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Maurice was born March 16, 1932 in Swartz. Mr. Clark served on 6 different U.S. Naval ships during the Korean War. He was awarded Korean service medal (4) stars, China Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation, United Nations Service Medal, and Navy occupation service medal. Maurice was retired from Bell South in Bastrop. He was a former member of the Telephone Company Pioneers.

Maurice is preceded in death by his parents, W.V. and Myrtle Clark; and his brother, Elton Clark.

He is survived by his devoted & loving wife of 62 years, Jobie Trichel Clark; daughters, Linda Sell (Brent) of Shreveport, Brenda Hudson (Sonny) of Sterlington, Charlotte Hudson; son Michael Clark (Amy).

He is also survived by a brother, Edward Clark of Hot Springs; a sister, Dorothy Fowler of Phoenix, Arizona; and 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include grandsons, Chris Haas, Cameron Clark, Justin Richard, Hunter Lloyd, Dalton Moore, Kris Rallinson, and Troy Hotard.
