MACON - Donald "Don" LeMyrle Norris, Sr. (72) passed away November 14, 2005. Memorial services will be held Wednesday 1P.M. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Commissioned Lay Pastor (CLP) Diane Frank and Rev. Steve Golden will be officiating. -Mr. Norris was born in Troup County to the late Noah Fredrick Norris and Nellie Bertholf Norris. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base after 32 years of service. Mr. Norris served as District Governor twice for the Lions of Georgia. He served two terms as President of Southside Lions Club as well as two terms as President of Cherry Blossom Lions Club. Mr. Norris was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church. Mr. Norris is also a 25 year veteran of the Army National Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening in the funeral home. -Donations may be made to Georgia Lions Lighthouse, 1775 Clairmont Rd. Decatur, Ga. 30033. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
