Mrs. Edith Karrick, 88, died at Bothwell Hospital. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, daughter of Jessie Karrick and Celia Thompson Karrick. She moved to Saline County at an early age, and came to Pettis County in 1889. She was married to Andrew Jackson Karrick, November 26, 1917, in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was a member of the Bethlehem Christian Church. Surving are her husband of the home; one brother Shelton Karrick, Houstonia; two sisters, Mr. John (Ina) Duffield, Sedalia; Mrs. Jesse B. (Jessie) Tevis, Hughesville, and several nieces and nephews. Five sisters and a brother proceeded her in death. Funeral services were held in Sedalia with the Rev. Richard Lech officating. Pallbearers were Glenn Karrick, Virgil Lindberg, John Tevis, J. B. Tevis, Jr; Thomas Ream and Thomas J. Smith.
