His love for cars led him into his lifelong career in the auto industry. Over the years, he was employed by John C. Bays, Daoust Chevrolet and Wheeler Chevrolet Cadillac. He retired from Wheeler Chevrolet Cadillac at the age of 84.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Minnie Miles; sister, Gwen Stillwell; and baby brother, Richard D. Miles.
A graveside service is planned for Friday, January 30, 2015, at 2 PM at the Live Oak Cemetery.
