Elinda Winslow was born in Geneva, Alabama. She married Albert L Brown in Geneva and had altogether seven children with him. She moved to Orlando in 1938 to join family already established there. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and Mizpah Chapter No. 190 Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons: Albert L. Jr., San Diego CA; Judge Cecil H., Orlando; George Wade, Apopka; daughters Vera Colvin, Riverside, CA; Agnes E. Ridenour, Laguna Hills, CA; and Minnie V. Bridges, Orlando; brothers William E. Winslow, Orlando, Joel E. Winslow, Largo, FL, Alfred M. Winslow, Rocklin, CA and also 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brown doted on her grandchildren and loved gathering with family to celebrate whatever occasion came up. She was a pleasure to her neighbors and known to all as a kindly, Christian woman. She lived through two World Wars, the Great Depression and lived to see Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. She was no doubt welcomed into heaven with praise and love.
