Sarah Ann Calhoun, age 44, of 2801 Fall Branch Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Watauga Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1970 to Edna Earl Ragan Allen and the late Warren Hardin Allen. She was member of Victory Chapel Cowboy Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, reading, scrapbooking, and especially her friends and family.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include daughter, Tara Woodard of Mountain City, TN; two sons, Dustin Woodard and Warren Woodard, both of Mountain City, TN; brother, John Townsend of Vilas, NC; nephew, Timmy Townsend; and special friends, Shirley and Jeff Woodard, Joe Hux, and Jody Hargett.
Funeral services were conducted at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Roark officiating.
Graveside service followed at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Dustin Woodard, Warren Woodard, Randall Woodard, Jody Hargett, Jeff Woodard, Adam May, and Jason May. Honorary pallbearers were John Townsend and Timmy Townsend.
