Mrs. Phillips was born Feb. 24, 1943, in Hope. She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church and Greater Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Phillips.
Survivors include four sons, Henry Phillips of Clarksville, Ind., Gerald Phillips and Rodney Phillips Sr. of Hope and Eric Phillips of Dallas; three daughters, Tamiko Phillips Hawkins of Hope, Carolyn Ware Scott of Stamps, Ark., and Christie Ware Jones of Texarkana; two sisters, Carrie Jones and Jacqueline McClure of Hope; 18 granchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Providence Full Gospel Church, hope. Burial will be in Azar Cemetery, Azar, Ark., under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today with visitation 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
