Mr. Randy Duane Strong Sr., went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Randy was born in Muncie on July 19, 1963, the son of Chester Eugene and Bonnie Mae (Cook) Strong, and attended Southside High School.
Mr. Strong was a machine operator for Muncie Tree for over 25 years. He was a member of the Full Gospel Church. Randy was a loving father who loved to help people. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his
wife, Annette M. Strong, Muncie;
Donna Mullens, the mother of his children;
a daughter, Heather Jo Strong, Muncie;
a son, Randy DeWayne Strong, (wife-Melissa), Eaton;
three brothers, twin brother, Ronnie Strong, Muncie, Kevin Strong, (wife-Tina), Muncie, and Steven Strong, Muncie;
two sisters, Sherri Copeland, Muncie, and Karen Floyd, (husband-Jesse), Muncie;
six grandchildren, Celina, Savanna, Isaiah, McKayla, Hayley, and Leila;
special family, Bobbie and Bridgett Strong, Frankie, Bonnie, Pat, and July Welch;
special friends, Dustin Shockley, Brady Coil and Brian Garrett;
his three dogs, Peanut, Gizmo, and Sissy; and
several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents;
a brother Chester Strong;
a sister, Kathy Braden;
a nephew, David Cowan.
Services will be held at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Virgil Duane Murray officiating.
Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery
