Rolland G. Wehr of Marion passed away on Monday. Rollie is survived by his wife, Evelyn, daughter Judy and husband Mark, granddaughter Megan Posey, and his son John. He is also survived by step- grandchildren Amanda Clenney, Rebecca Harjo and husband Eddie, Andrew Heaney and wife Jordan. He had two step-grandchildren Miles Clenney and Evan Harjo.

He is survived by his siblings, Miriam Louise Smith of Hawthorne, California, Joe Wehr of Daleville, Indiana, and J. Guilford Wehr of Warren Indiana.

Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lela Wehr, sisters Mae Kugler, Mildred Crutchfield, Leola Booher, Evalyn O’Connor and brothers Fred Wehr, Lawrence Wehr and son Jerry Wehr.

Rollie was a beloved friend and always supportive father and grandfather. His motto, "Can do!" is an inspiration and guide to all who knew him.

Rollie was sales manager for Standard Oil and he owned and operated Standard Oil Bulk Plant in Marion, Indiana. He was graduated from Jefferson High School, Huntington County in 1943.

Rollie loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and served as lay leader in the United Methodist Church.

Rollie never met a stranger and was active in many national organizations and local charities. He was especially dedicated to the Grant County Rescue Mission in Marion.

Rollie participated in and watched all sports especially baseball, basketball and football. He was an avid gardener and grew the best tomatoes in town.

A Celebration of Life for Rollie will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 12 to 2 p.m. at the College Park Chapel, Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, 46953. Come ready to share your favorite stories about Rollie. A graveside service will be held at Lancaster Cemetery, 2761 West 550 S. Huntington, 46750 at 3 p.m
