Mark Douglas Welch, age 59 of Powell, passed away February 8, 2015. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
He worked many years in the excavating industry.
Preceded in death by mother, Thelma Hannah Welch.
Survived by loving wife of 16 years, Melissa Welch; his daughter, Markie Welch, who was his pride and joy; father, Clifford Welch and wife Betty; brothers, Mike Welch and Steve Welch; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Dan Foster, Lisa and Jackie Bragg, Linda and Roy Camp; brother-in-law, Dale Roberts; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm Wednesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway for 1:30 pm inurnment. Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel in charge of arrangements.
