Lacy Palmer
Lacy Tines Palmer, 80, of Monterey, died on Friday, June 18, 1993 at King's Daughters Hospital. He was born on June 29, 1912 at Craigsville, a son of Ollie and Ella Botkin Palmer. He was a member of Seybert Chapel. He was employed by VDOT in Highland County for 11 years and worked at Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital in Arlington for three years, and and retired from Arlington Refuse Co. after 10 years of service. Surviving are his widow, Catherine Palmer of Monterey; a half-sister, Juanita Armentrout of Crozet; and a brother, Lloyd Palmer of Salem. A service was conducted at 2 p m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home by the Rev. David Schill and the Rev. Jerry Ginn, with burial at Monterey Cemetery.
