Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan, where a Ladies of the Moose Ritual will be held at 5:30 p.m. with a CDA rosary at 6 p.m. followed by a parish vigil. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Cecilia was born Nov. 19, 1924, to Adam and Regina Bullinger in St. Anthony. She married John F. Kuntz on June 6, 1944, in Flasher. She was an extremely hard worker, talented seamstress, wonderful cook and a dedicated wife and mother. Her door was always open to family and friends. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed family gatherings where she would cook big meals that everyone would enjoyed. Her church, her faith and her family were central in her life and Cecilia was respected and loved by all those whose lives she touched.
Cecilia will be deeply missed by her daughters, Cecilia (Pat) Jordan, Boise, Idaho, Carol (Robert) Ernest, Grass Valley, Calif., Claudia (Tom Whisler) Wiedman, Wickenburg, Ariz., and Corinne (Chris) Smith, Kennewick, Wash.; her daughter-in-law, Edith, Sacramento, Calif.; her sons, Tom (Val), Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Ken (Kim), Gresham, Ore., Don (Karen) Spokane, Wash., and Randy (Jennifer), Bismarck; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Letchford and Loretta Dolacheck, Sheridan, Wyo.; and two brothers, Cletus (Jean), Illinois, and Andy (Sarah), Boise, Idaho.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, who died in 2009; two sons, John Jr. and Ed; and her seven brothers and sisters.
