Of O'Fallon, Missouri, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the age of 80. Loving wife of Willard F. Koch; beloved daughter of the late Bishop and Virginia Dycus; devoted mother of Carol Schaffner, Brenda (Rich) Cochran and Tammy Tinker; cherished grandmother of Kelly (Tom) Marshall, Justin (Dawn) Musgrove, Andrew (Tara) Cochran, Stephanie (Shawn) Leigh, Courtney Tinker and Nicole Tinker; treasured great-grandmother of Tucker, Cooper, Caroline, Karina and Evan; and dear sister of Charles Dycus and Judy (Larry) Thornton. Preceded in death by her brother Bishop Dycus, Jr., and two son-in-laws Gregory Tinker and Stephan Schaffner. Norma was employed with JCPenney as a Catalog Department Manager from 1955 until 1968. She then went on to work for Target as a Sales Auditor from 1968 until 1987. She retired from SSM Health Care as an Accounting Clerk where she worked from 1987 until 2004. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Norma enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and the girls family shopping trips. Her favorite times were all the family get-togethers, especially showing her love to her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
