Darlene K. Wilson Baker, 69, a longtime resident of Centerville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2015 at her winter residence in Valrico, Florida.

She was born July 7, 1945 in Lompoc, California. She was the first child to Woodrow A. Wilson and Margaret D. Overly Wilson.

She married Steven K. Baker on June 12, 1964 in Salt Lake City.

She graduated from West High School, attended Utah State University, and graduated from Robert Stewart School of Cosmetology.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Her hobbies were genealogy, quilting, tap dancing, and golfing.

She was a member of the LDS Church who enjoyed her callings as a chorister, choir director, and temple worker.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret D. Overly Wilson; her husband, Steven K. Baker; her daughter, Natalie S. Wagner; and her sons, Michael S. (Nikki) Baker, Brandon C. (Megan) Baker, Craig A. Baker, and Curtis A. Baker. Grandchildren include Andrew Wagner, Allison Wagner, and Marley Baker. Siblings include her sister, Joyce (Richard) Shenefelt; and her brothers, Reid A. (Merilee) Wilson, Ross Wilson, and Wayne (Annette) Wilson. She also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and daughter in-law, Elaine Lacanienta Baker.

The viewing will be held from the times of 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful. The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the Centerville Twentieth Ward Chapel, 1825 North 300 East, Centerville. One hour preceding the funeral, a second viewing will be held.
Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery, 650 East 400 South, Centerville.
