Death of an Old Citizen
Mr. W.R. Eddings, an old and well known citizen of Nacogdoches county, died at his home at Alazan last Thursday, April 4. Mr. Eddings was born February 14, 1814 (1817), and was, therefore, past 93 years of age. Deceased leaves several sons and daughters, all of whom are grown, and some are old men and women.
The remains of this good old citizen were interred in Alazan (Harmony) cemetery last Friday, April 5.
Source is unknown, but believed to be the Nacogdoches newspaper at the time.
