RUTH CROMER
Lifetime Estacada resident, Ruth Cromer died at Maria's Foster Care on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was 99 years old.
A funeral service will be held, 11:00AM, Thursday, February 16, 2015 at Estacada Funeral Chapel followed by burial at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Ruth Elizabeth Cromer was born January 24, 1917, in the Springwater area, to Henry and Ida (Llewellen) Cromer. She was raised there and graduated from Estacada Union High School. She worked in the janitorial service field at Dr. offices and the Estacada Post Office.
Ruth enjoyed gardening, growing dahlias, taking trips to Reno and her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include her niece, Mary York Ronning of Canby, Oregon; nephew, Larry York of Lincoln City, Oregon; several nieces, nephews great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was preceded in death by her nephews Ronald and Raymond York.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dushan and Maria from Maria's Foster Care in Eagle Creek for the wonderful care they gave Ruth and her family.
