Raymond C. Bradley, 76, of Crosby, MS, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville, MS. Mr. Raymond was born in Crosby on June 16, 1938, the son of May Day Bradley and Ruben Clyde Bradley.

He cherished the last 41 years of his life as a Crosby, MS resident. He was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country for two tours in Vietnam. As a civilian, he worked as a carpenter, an electrician, a millwright, and lastly as a supervisor at Georgia Pacific Corp. in Gloster and Centreville, MS. He was active in his community as an alderman on the Crosby Town Council and a manager of the Crosby Airport. He was a dedicated member and Deacon of Crosby Baptist Church, where he was known as a Bible scholar and a big supporter of all youth. Additionally Mr. Raymond was an enthusiastic member of the local Gideon ministry.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Donna Jean Bradley, his brother Jimmy Bradley and wife Anita and their family.

His surviving sons include Robert Clyde Bradley and wife Ashley of St. Francisville, LA and David Paul Bradley and wife Bonnie of Smithdale, MS and an adopted daughter/sister-in-law, Ruth Randall Monahan of Chattanooga, TN. He was the proud Grandpa/Pawpaw of 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren whom he loved beyond measure.

Mr. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, May Day Bradley and Ruben Clyde Bradley, sisters, Carol Jane Bradley Ferguson and husband Henry, Andrea May Bradley Kline and husband Nicky, brothers, Edward Bradley, Gerald Bradley, and David Bradley and his son John Steven, and grandson Randy Wade DeLaughter.

Visitation is Wednesday February 11, 2015, at Crosby Baptist Church from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Also visitation Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at Crosby Baptist Church. Officiated by Rev, Bart Houston of Crosby Baptist Church and Bro. Brad Delaughter of Satsuma Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster,Ms.

Pallbearers will be Woody Day, Drew Day, Jeremy Pickett, Blake Covington, John Michael Greene, and Jamey Bradley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Laverne Jackson, Ray Wilkinson, Hansel Bass, Paul Khuns and Sam Marchiver.
