Richard L. Bingham of Lubbock, Texas formerly of Lovington, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 70. He was born October 10, 1944 in Seminole to Mervin and Lena (Hext) Bingham. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam. After honorable discharge, he owned B&B Oilfield Service Company in Lovington before retiring and moving to Lubbock in August of 2014. He married Peggy Dyer on August 19, 1966.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers.
Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (MST) Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home, Lovington, New Mexico. Inurnment will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in Lovington, New Mexico.
