Major League Baseball Player. A native of Stouffville, Ontario, Cook made his major league debut on September 12, 1941, and played his final game the same day. The 6'0, and 190lbs, pitcher only played in one game with the Detroit Tigers. He pitched in two innings, gave up one run, and striked out one batter. Cook passed away in November 1996, at the age of 87, in Markham, Ontario.
