Betty married Edward M. Tierney on Nov. 17, 1951 in Bronx, New York. She was retired from Williams Bros in Tulsa. Betty is survived by: her husband, Edward of Broken Arrow; son, Peter Tierney; daughters, Patricia (James) Vogel, Susan (Kelly) Raymer and Laurie (James) Allen; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother; and a brother-in-law.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February. 12, 2015 at Hayhurst Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. A Rosary Service will immediately follow. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Church of St. Benedict in Broken Arrow.
