Sarah Martinez, "Grandma", of Sacramento, CA passed away on February 5, 2015. Sarah was born in Parsons, Kansas, on January 8, 1928, to her parents Jesus and Rafaela Martinez.
Sarah was the most beloved grandmother. Helping to raise her grandchildren. Her immense kindness shined for everyone to see. Grandma was the heart and base of our family. She held us together through her immense kindness and genuine love of her family and anyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Everyone would agree she had a heart of gold. Someone who our admiration was built around for her selflessness, kindness, strength and unconditional love. Grandma was a true angel and we will love her always and forever.

Sarah is survived by her children, Maria de Jesus De La Rosa (Roberto), Mario Salazar, Sylvia Uriarte, her 17 grandchildren, her 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way, who she loved dearly and could do no wrong, siblings, Jose, Alfredo, Trinidad, Martin, Carmela, Josefina, Carlos, Gilberto, Esperanza, and Ofelia Martinez, as well as many nephews, nieces and dear friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her son Jose Salazar, her sister Socorro Berlanga, and brother Sabino Martinez, and both parents Jesus and Rafaela Martinez, and step-mother Pablita Martinez.
