Paula Galloway, 81, of Olney, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Richland Memorial Hospital Long Term Care in Olney.
Paula was born May 28, 1933 in Dahlgren, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Gertrude (Sneed) Whited. She married Arnold Arthur Galloway on June 22, 1952 in Latham, Illinois.
Paula was an animal lover, especially cats. She enjoyed traveling, particularly to Key West, Florida where she once lived for three years while her husband served in the Navy. Paula loved spending time with her husband, Arnold, and her extended family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Arnold Galloway of Olney; Sons, David Galloway and wife Robin of Marion, IL, and Phillip Galloway of Olney; Daughter, Lori Hazel and husband Mark of Olney; Grandchildren, Ryan Galloway of Crestwood, MO, Paul Galloway of Mt. Vernon, IL, Zane Breeden of Olney, and Drew Breeden of Olney; Four Great Grandchildren, several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Paula.
Visitation will be Thursday 1:00-2:00 pm at Summers Kistler Funeral Home, with funeral services immediately following. Interment will be in Haven Hill Memorial Garden.
