She was born in Springfield, the daughter of James V. and Rita A. Peterson. They preceded her in death.
She married James Philip Flynn on July 16, 1966. He survives.
She is also survived by one son, Dennis (Bracale) Flynn, Bloomington; one daughter, Dee (David) Zvejnieks, Chicago; three grandchildren; two sisters, Karon (Jimmy) Burson, Conroe, Texas and Carolyn Johnson, Kankakee; brother and sister-in-law, Tom (Kathy) Flynn, Bloomington and sisters-in-law Michaela Kent, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Rosanne Flynn, Los Angeles, California.
