Young Business Man Succumbs to Illness -- Had Been Very Successful.

Funeral Services for Dallas M. Villines, prominent Young business man, who died yesterday at an early hour at his residence, 1202 Sixteenth avenue, south, will be conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Vine Street Christian Church, by the pastor, Dr. Carey E. Morgan. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet.
Mr. Villines had been a resident of Nashville since early youth, having come here with his father, the late Dr. Dallas M. Villines, from Auburn, Ky., where he was born. He was 35 years old. He had been connected with several business enterprises of the city.
Mr. Villines for a number of years was connected with the art department of Lebeck Bros., but left their employ to enter business for himself in the Arcade, where he conducted a successful business. Later he branched out into other lines of Business. He also owned the hosiery department of Armstrong's.
He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Frankie Burt, and a 9 year-old daughter, Frances; his mother, Mrs. Dallas M. Villines; also two sisters, Mrs. R. H. Poindexter and Mrs. Robert H Wilkerson, both of Nashville.
The following will act as pallbearers: Honorary, J. H. Orr, E. A. Lindsey, Dr. D R. Neil, Lou Lebeck, George B. Farrar, John Tyner, Ed Petway and J. B. Stidham. Active, P. J. Stumb, A. T. Armstrong, William Hume, J. V. Easley, M. W. Colcock and Frank Mocker.
