Funeral services for Mr. Craig Morgan, 54, will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Sinai Church of God with Bro. Doug Brewton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his residence in Tylertown, Mississippi. He was born October 8, 1960 in Columbia, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and a sister Rebecca Lynn Morgan.
He was a member of Mt. Sinai Church of God and a member of Elk’s Lodge #. Mr. Morgan was a Barge Engineer for Atwood Oceanics. He was a gun-shooting enthusiast and loved hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Survivors include his wife Dana Jo Brumfield Morgan of Tylertown; sons Cody (Brittany) Morgan of Saucier and Christopher Blake Morgan of Long Beach; father and step-mother Cecil (Pam) Morgan of Foxworth; mother and step-father Shirley Pigott (Gene)Curtis of Salem; sister Beth (Danny) Alford of Gonzales, Louisiana; step-sons Ryan (Elizabeth) Murphy of Ridgeland and Garreth (Angelia) of Salem; step-sisters Julie (Dannie) Richardson of Purvis, Chris Axtell and Kimberlye Hill; step-brothers Shane (Carla) Kellum of Foxworth and Trey Curtais III of Canton; grandchildren Cayson Morgan and Gracelyn Marie Warren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Cody Morgan, Sam Cook, Rod Smith, Danny Alford, Daryl Brumfield, and Perry McKenzie.
Honorary pallbearer will be David Walters.
Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and at the church on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time there at 10:00 A.M.
