Edith Juanita Cantrell, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at the Grace Living Center in Bethany, OK. Edith was born on January 16, 1933, the only child of the late Clifton and Juanita Dempsey of Blair, OK. She graduated from Blair High School in 1950. She was devoted to her husband of 61 years, James (Jim) S. Cantrell of Martha, OK. Edith and Jim lived in Bethany for over 50 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons and their wives, James R. (Randy) and Debbie Cantrell of Broken Arrow, OK and Richard (Rick) D. and Cyndi Cantrell of Poetry, TX; five grandchildren, Lindsey Webb, Lauren Perry, Austin Cantrell, Rachel Cantrell, and James (J.J.) Cantrell; two great-grandchildren, Emma Webb and Madison Perry; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Haley and Lela Cantrell.

Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm with family present from 6pm-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held Saturday, February 14 at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
