Mr. James Elam “Jimmy” Gaskins, age 81, of Willacoochee, Ga. passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga. following an extended illness.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Tammy Paulk and husband Jim of Willacoochee, Ga.
Son: James E. Gaskins, Jr. and wife Penny of Willacoochee, Ga.
2 Sisters: Martha Estelle Usry of Smithville, Ga.
Evelyn Rentz of Ehrhardt, S.C.
Special Friend: Bera "B" Gaskin of Axson, Ga.
6 Grandchildren: Tracy Griffin, Ashley Paulk, Victoria Greene, Joseph Herold, McCoy Herold, and Callie Herold.
4 Great Grandchildren: Macey Paulk, Levi Paulk, Jake Paulk, and Marlee Griffin.
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Gaskins was held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Willacoochee First Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Floyd, Rev. Carroll Carver and Rev. Jack Chaney officiating. The interment was in Paulk Cemetery.
Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, Ga. was in charge of the arrangements.
