Anne L. Wilson, born September 24, 1930 at Emery Hospital in Atlanta, GA to John B. Wilson and Bessie Bennett Wilson, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2009. She is survived by many first and second cousins, friends and her beloved pet Johnny B., named after her father. She graduated from high school in Atlanta and attended the University of Georgia and Grady Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Jacksonville in the 1950's and started work at Alton Boxboard Employees Credit Union where she soon became manager. Alton was purchased by Owens- Illinois and the credit union became Owens-Illinois Employees Credit Union. In June of 1976 she accepted a job as manager of the Southern Greyhound Lines Employees Federal Credit Union, which changed its name in 1985 to First Coast Federal Credit Union. She retired after 20 years in September of 1995. Anne was a long time member of Riverside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school classes for many years. She then became a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in 1998. Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3889 Eloise Street. (Corner of Glenndale and Eloise, between Park and Herchel streets near the Junior College) at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11th, with the Reverend Eric Williams presiding.
