Monita B. Guidry, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off, passed away on January 30, 2015.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. Funeral mass began at 3 p.m. with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by husband of 59 years, Dudley J. Guidry; daughter, Krisandra Guidry Toups and husband Kelly; grandchildren, Casey Ann Toups and Cameron Michael Toups; Godchild, Lillie and first cousin, Abby.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clovis and Justilia C. Barrios.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lady of the Sea Hospital, Dr. Gregory Madidoh, Dr. R. Truett Ray and Dr. Camille Pitre for their care and compassion attending to Mrs. Monita.
