LESLIE RAY LESTER, 64 years of age of Big Rock, VA, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Roy Lester and Eliza Jane Skeens Lester Meadows. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Baptist Faith. Ray served our country proudly in the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a disabled Coal Miner.

Entombment to follow Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the Mountain View Cemetery, Bristol, VA, with Pastor Les Ketron of Central Baptist Church, Abingdon, VA, officiating.
Full Military Rites will be conducted by Childs-Gentry Post No. 7360 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
