Adam F. Cooper, 72, of 720 Forest Ave., manager of Forest Park Trailer Park, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Hospital.
Mr. Cooper was born at Festus, Mo., the son of Thomas and Martha Cooper.
He formerly owned and managed the Athens Super Way Market, was a former employee of Illinois Department of Revenue, Sangamon Dairy and was a former manager of Lincoln Park Pavilion for 10 years.
Mr. Cooper was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church, Central Lodge No. 71 AF&AM, Springfield Consistory, Ansar Shrine, Wrecking Crew and UCT.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth M.; one daughter, Mrs. Marcia Linas of Detroit, Mich.; two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bisch Memorial Home with Dr. Thomas Like officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
