Mary T. Underwood, 85, passed away Nov. 29, 2014 at her residence in Lower Macungie Twp. Born in Lansford, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pekarik) Kosalko. She was the loving wife of William E. Underwood with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage on Nov. 28th. She was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus. Mary graduated from Lansford High School in 1947. She served her country proudly as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy. Mary worked for the former Emmaus Shirt Co. for a few years. She enjoyed taking care of her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by three brothers, John Vargas, Paul Kosalko, and Joseph Kosalko, and two sisters, Rose Horowski and Dorothy Pogwist.
