Brandi Lashe’ Smith, 18, was born August 6, 1996, in Laurel and died February 7, 2015, in Hattiesburg due to injuries from a car accident.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Antioch United Pentecostal Church with burial to follow at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Gerald Sawyer and Rev. Daniel Livingston will officiate. She attended Northeast Jones High School and had just signed up for GED courses. She was loved by everyone she met. Her smile would light up a room and her laugh was contagious

She was preceded in death by a sister, Makenzie Smith, grandfather, Albert Smith, and step-grandmother, Susan Coleman,

She was survived by her mother, Seleta Coleman and step-father, Allen Coleman and her father Albert Shannon Smith. She is also survived by two brothers, Allen Smith and Dalton Yarbrough; maternal grandparents, Virginia and Eddie Coleman, and Terry Rogers and Ruby Rogers; paternal grandmother, Cynthia Lavergne; step-grandfather, William Buddy Coleman and step-grandmother, Gloria Vandevender.

She had many aunts and uncles.

Pallbearers are Jimmie Pitts, Jakob Martinez, Anthony Graham, Jonathan Dunnway, Matt Dimauro, and Jamie Arnold. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Adcock and Ronnie Kitchens.

Visitation will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Antioch United Pentecostal Church.
