Laura was born in Renton, Washington on October 22, 1915 to Craig and Laura Spencer.
She graduated from the University of Washington and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.
Laura was an active member of Overlake Golf Club and the Seattle Yacht Club. She had a zest for life, loved the out of doors, always had a big smile on her face and kind, loving words to say to her friends and family.
She passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at her home on Saturday, May 06, 2006 surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her 3 sons, John (Sandee), Craig (Lesley), and Aki Ohsawa, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The memorial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 4400 86th Ave SE, Mercer Island.
