Norma D. Rapp, 94, Aitkin, formerly of rural Welch, died Friday, February 6, 2015, at Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 10, at Vasa Lutheran Church, Welch, with Rev. Kristi Mitchell officiating.
Arrangements were by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.
She was born in Vasa Township to Clarence and Ruth (Olson) Odman. Norma married Arnold Rapp at her parent’s home in Welch. They farmed for several years in the Welch and Belle Creek area. She worked at the Vasa Creamery as a bookkeeper and the White Rock Bank as a teller. In 1957, they moved to Rochester, where she worked for Olmstead County Bank until they retired in 1981. In 1983 they moved back to the Vasa area. After Arnold died in 2002, she continued to live there until 2010 when she moved to Aitkin to live with her daughter.
