Edna Payne, 76, of Cleburne passed away February 8, 2015 in Mansfield. She was born July 11, 1938 to William and Lavada Cooper Wiggs. She married James B. Payne on July 18, 1953 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2009.
She operated her own grocery store in Frost, Texas and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Mike Payne; daughter, Patti Mathis; grand children; great grand children; sisters, Martha Johnson and Mary Underwood; brothers, Bob and Jim Wiggs; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; numerous brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Jim Butler.
Service will be conducted February 12, 2015. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery in Joshua...CPFH
